| "Jabba the Hutt" drawn by Donovin Natividad I love it when some of the quirky, ridiculous things I do in the art room inspires kids to make art!!! Take for example my latest sketchbook assignment video. I created a video using a Jabba the Hutt toy that I have in my room and had him 'talking' to the kids 'assigning' them a sketchbook assignment. And then...this happened! One of my sixth graders watched the video and created this fantastic Jabba the Hutt drawing!!! Just amazing!!! It's these 'little things' that really make my job so enjoyable... |
